Do you have a specific animal in stock?

Our stocklist changes regularly. Pop into the shop or message us on WhatsApp. We carry bearded dragons, chameleons, ball pythons, geckos, tortoises, axolotls, tarantulas, frogs, Fiji iguanas, colubrid snakes, and more.

Can I handle the animals before buying?

Wherever possible, yes. We encourage it. Handling helps you bond with your new pet and lets our team assess which animal suits your experience level. Some animals can't be handled around feeding times, so just ask in store and we'll let you know what's possible on the day.

What do I need to get started with a reptile?

It depends on the species, but typically you'll need an enclosure, heating, UV lighting, substrate, hides, and food. We stock everything in-store and our team will walk you through exactly what your chosen animal needs.

Do you sell live food?

Yes. We carry crickets, locusts, roaches, mealworms, and other feeder insects. We also stock frozen food and dried food options.

Do you offer holiday boarding for reptiles?

Yes, and it's one of our most popular services. Our boarding has been reviewed as second to none. Pop into the store to arrange boarding.

Are your animals captive bred?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All of our animals are captive bred. We don't deal in wild-caught animals. We source responsibly and are fully licensed with two 5-star Animal Activities Licences.

Do you offer a guarantee on the animals you sell?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Animals bought together with a full setup come with a 14-day guarantee. Animals bought on their own, without a setup, come with a 48-hour guarantee. If anything's not right within the guarantee period, get in touch and we'll put it right.

Do you do children's birthday parties?

Yes! We run reptile birthday parties where kids get hands-on with the animals, learn about different species, and take home a certificate to remember the day. Explore our birthday party pages and request a preferred date. The team will confirm availability and pricing.

Can my child do work experience at your shop?

We regularly welcome school students and young people looking for work experience. You'll get real hands-on experience caring for reptiles.

Do you take in unwanted or rescued reptiles?

We do our best to help rehome unwanted reptiles. Bring it in or message us and we'll see what we can do.

Are you licensed?

Yes. We hold two Animal Activities Licences with the highest possible 5-star welfare rating. Ashford licence: 25/00270/ANPET, issued by Spelthorne Borough Council. Leighton Buzzard licence: 24/00406/ANPET (trading as T and S Reptile Ltd).

Do you ship or deliver animals?

We don't ship animals. All animals must be collected in person from either our Ashford or Leighton Buzzard shop.

Always, and it's completely free. Call, WhatsApp, or pop in with any questions about feeding, health, behaviour, or enclosure setup. We're here for the life of your pet.
