- Habitat
- A planted, humid terrarium with foliage to climb, a water area, gentle UVB, and good ventilation. Tree frogs love height and live plants. Ball frogs and pacman frogs like to burrow, so ddeep substrate is key, they need UVB, good ventilation and many hiding spots such as wood branches or cork wood. Axolotls require a big tank, this is a cold water fish tank, they require slate at the bottom of their tank and the classic fish tank stones arent good for them as they injest it when they eat, some hides for them to go in, and their water needs to be treated with tap safe, and water conditioner.
- Diet
- Live insects — crickets and flies, dusted with calcium — usually every couple of days. Ball frogs and pacman can have insects too, they can also have mice or rats as a treat. Axolotls can eat earth worms and blood worms you can also have a pellet food aswell.

About Amphibian
We carry tree frogs and other species — colourful, characterful, and active to watch, especially in the evening.
Frogs are more of a look-don't-handle pet: their skin is delicate and absorbs the oils on our skin. But a planted, humid terrarium with frogs in it makes a gorgeous living display.
Low fuss once set up, and full of personality. Ask us which species suits the setup you have in mind.

We don't ship animals — every one is collected in person so we can make sure it's the right match. Pop into either shop or message us first.
