From first idea to the big day
Reptile Birthday Party Planning
Less guessing. More celebrating.
Reptile birthday party planning is easier when you agree the animal session first and build the rest of the day around it. Use this guide to gather the details, ask the right questions and send one useful enquiry.
Request a party dateA little planning now. A lot to talk about afterwards.

First: choose a few possibilities
Pick your preferred date and one or two alternatives. Write down the birthday child’s age, an approximate guest count and which shop you want to contact. If the party is a surprise, say so and tell us how best to reach you.
The calendar below is a date request tool. It cannot reserve a slot or check the team’s diary, so keep the plans flexible until you receive confirmation.
Next: agree the practical details
- Confirm the date, start time, session length and exact party address.
- Agree the total price, inclusions and any payment or cancellation terms.
- Check guest numbers, age suitability and adult supervision.
- Discuss access, handwashing, photography and any quieter participation needs.
- Ask what you should provide and how food or cake fits around the animal session.
Then: send invitations with the confirmed details
Once everything is agreed, include the confirmed address, arrival time and collection time on invitations. Explain that children will be meeting live animals and following the team’s instructions.
Keep animal promises general: suitable handling depends on the day. Check other parents’ questions with the team in advance, and pass on any changes to guest numbers or arrangements as soon as you can.
A useful note in the diary
After sending your enquiry, you can add a provisional date reminder to your calendar. It is an all-day note marked as awaiting confirmation, with your requested time in the description.
The reminder does not book the party or block the team’s diary. Update it with the confirmed time and location once the team has agreed your booking.
Let’s plan something wild
Start with a date.
Tell us what you have in mind. We’ll check the diary, talk through the details and confirm the price with you.
- Pick your preferred date.
- Send a few party details.
- Agree your booking with the team.
A request, then a conversation. The calendar does not show live availability. Your party is only booked once the team confirms it.

You’re one step closer
Enquiry received.
Thanks for telling us about your party. The team will check your request and get back to you using the contact details you provided.
Your date is not booked yet. Please wait for the team to confirm the time, location and price before making arrangements.
Keep a note in your diary
Save an all-day reminder marked “awaiting confirmation”. It does not reserve a slot.
A few things you might be wondering
Before the big day.
When should I send invitations?
Wait until the team has confirmed the date, time, location and party arrangements. An enquiry or calendar reminder is not a confirmed booking.
Can I give more than one possible date?
Yes. Choose your first-choice date and put any alternatives in the message field.
What should I tell other parents?
Share the confirmed practical details and explain that live animals are involved. Ask them to raise participation or access questions early so you can discuss them with the team.
Does Add to Calendar book the party?
No. It saves a provisional reminder in your own calendar. The team still needs to confirm the booking directly with you.
